Support a child with special needs for
$50 per month/$600 per year

In developing countries such as India, the facilities and attention deserved by children with special needs are utterly limited. In order to address this issue, Smile Donor is supporting Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO) that are enabling better lives for the disabled & disadvantaged children. One of the NGO’s that Smile Donor is currently working with is Ganpati Education Society based in the Solan District of Himachal Pradesh, India. Over more than 100 kids as young as age 2 have been diagnosed with special needs (Including Cerebral Palsy, Intellectual disability, and Autism). Smile Donor is providing assistance to this NGO to enable them to have the therapists do home visits for imparting education tailored to the needs of such children and subsequently monitoring the given child’s progress. In addition, Smile Donor works with the relevant authorities to provide appropriate medical treatment for the disabled children.

Success Story –

Meet 13 year-old Sunil and his 9 year-old sister, Anita. These siblings have much in common from their warm and sunny personalities to their vivaciousness; however, they both also suffer from severe intellectual and physical disabilities. Living in a remote village at the foot of the Himalayas and surviving on just under $2 per day, this family struggles in areas of life we often take for granted. As you can imagine, your donations to Smile Donor make a world of difference in the lives of Sunil and Anita. Your donations allow them access to a special education teacher who comes to their home three times a week, as well as monthly medical check-ups. Additionally, through the efforts of Smile Donor over the years, Sunil, previously unable to use his hands effectively, has been taught how to feed himself – a huge victory for him, his family, and for us. Without a doubt, healthy, educated children are the leaders of tomorrow, and your charitable contributions ensure not only their well-being today but also the well-being of our world tomorrow.
