Smile Donor is proud to support local Arizona schools for STEM programs where kids could learn essential skills to succeed in school, career and in life.
Smile Donor sponsored 39 students at Desert Willow School in Casa Grande to participate in the STEAM program challenge by Destination Imagination (DI). DI is an enrichment program where students take what they learn in school or in STEM workshops and apply the skills to create their own presentation given the parameters of the task they choose. Each year the tasks are different, but they are in one of six categories (Science, Engineering, Structural, Fine Arts, Improv, and Community Service). Students participated in these categories and won in the engineering and improv category. We congratulate all students for giving their 100% towards preparation for the challenge.
